| Album Title: | Hearts And Stars |
Manchester’s alternative rock three piece David R Black are set to release their highly anticipated album Hearts And Stars. Having all been in bands previously they all bring their own unique style to the new group which in my opinion has similarities to early Lightening Seeds stuff mixed in with some good old rock and roll. With their unique style of brit rock they have been compared to such great bands as Placebo, Three Colours Red and Therapy. This is an album that certainly won’t disappoint those who have been waiting, with a mix of electro beats and a thrashing drums this album sees every track keeping your ears tuned to the sound and wont let your concentration drop for a second. With influences ranging from Jimi Hendrix to Alice In Chains, they have certainly pulled together a wide range of sounds to make this album. A must have cd for any
self respecting rock lover 9/10
