Guilfest 2008

In our opinion, Guilfest is the best independently run UK festival. It has a friendly atmosphere, an eclectic mix of music and entertainment, and not forgetting the beautiful surroundings of Stoke Park, Guildford. All this adds up to a great family weekend of fun.

This year’s festival will be held over the weekend of the 4th, 5th & 6th July 2008 and tickets are priced at £100 for an Adult weekend ticket including camping, £50 for a Child’s (12-16 years) weekend + camping, and best of all, under 12’s are FREE . Various day tickets are available as well as weekend tickets without camping. See the Guilfest site for full info.

Visitors can expect a weekend of live musical entertainment coupled with comedy, children´s entertainment, street theatre, theatre tent, plus art and craft exhibitions. There are caterers from around the world providing a variety of meals in a truly festive atmosphere. You can sit back and enjoy your food while watching street performers or taking in a show from one of the many live bands of the weekend.

With its 150 foot beer tent and calypso cocktail bar, plus an extensive dedicated KidZone and most importantly there well maintained toilet trailers, Guilfest caters for young and old alike. From local visitors wanting to just come for the day, to families from further afield camping for a 3 day mini holiday!

All in all, Guilfest has something for everyone with its friendly relaxed vibe and fantastic mix of music and entertainment. Come along and see for yourself why it has been nominated as best family and medium sized festival for the past 2 years.
