WILL HAVEN TREAT FANS TO NEW E-CARD !!!
***********************************************************

Sacramento metal-heroes Will Haven release their new album 'Hierophant' on June 18th through Bieler Bros. Records.

To give fans a taster of their new material they have released a new e-card....Check it out !!!

http://bielerbros.com/media/will_haven/ecard/WillHaven-Ecard-UK.html

Heralded by band guitarist Jeff Irwin as "By far the best stuff we have ever done," and featuring production by Shaun Lopez(Far/ Revolution Smile) and Deftones' vocalist Chino Moreno, 'Hierophant' will be Will Haven's first release since 2001's critically acclaimed 'Carpe Diem'.

Following the release of 'Carpe Diem', Will Haven seemed primed for the big time as the band headlined venues throughout the United States and Europe, adorned metal magazine covers and were tagged 'Saviours Of Rock Music' by UK music-press powerhouse 'Kerrang!'.

Then, without warning the band announced they would be going on indefinite hiatus. That hiatus would last until 2006 when amidst much speculation Will Haven returned with a co-headline tour of the UK with Crowbar and a subsequent record deal with fast rising indie label Bieler Bros. Records.

With a re-engergized and creative outlook the band went back into the studio with longtime friends and collaborators, Deftones frontman Chino Moreno and producer Shaun Lopez (Deftones, Far) to create the highly anticipated album HEIROPHANT.

Those who have heard the new material are predicting this recording will change heavy music as we know it.  A big reason for this groundbreaking sound is the addition of frontman Jeff Jaworski, of the respected punk band, Red Tape, who joined the band to replace original vocalist, Grady Avenell.  Avenell left the group amicably to focus on family and Jaworski was the natural choice to replace him, as "he has been in the 'family' for so long," according to Irwin.

The band have just completed a successful European tour, are about to hit the US with The Deftones and will also be appearing at major international festivals in the summer.

With a new album, new energy, and a label squarely behind them, the band is ready to give fans of music something they have never experienced before......open your ears, your mind and hold on to your seats!!!

'Hierophant' album is released on June 18 through Bieler Bros. Records.

rippsThe Ripps

New Single ‘Holiday’

Released June 11th on Catskills Records

www.myspace.com/theripps

"Two sons of refugees from General Pinochet's Chile plus a fox-like lady, they hail from Coventry, drive a van called Shelia and play a heady brew of Supergrass-ish ska-popjammed through a glam-rock filter" NME 17th March 2007

‘Guaranteed to lift the sides of your mouth into a firm grin’ Rocksound

‘’Raucous, rakish & addictive’ The Sun

Coventry upstarts The Ripps release a brand new single ‘Holiday’ through Catskills on 11th June. An unabashed pop anthem, ‘Holiday’ is a sorry, tongue in cheek tale of alcoholic misadventure taken from their uproarious debut album ‘Long Live The Ripps’. Here’s singer Patch on the tune: “It’s our escapist anthem. It’s our hangover song, an anecdotal tale of debauchery. Going out on a school night with the knowledge that you’ve got work the next day and that moment of realisation halfway through the evening when its too late to turn back!”

The Ripps sound is fast, furious and - hello! - FUN; punk power pop effusive as early Supergrass, but with an outsider edge that makes them a welcome antidote to their immediate contemporaries heavy handed lad rock.

The trio originally got together in their mid teens in the autumn of 2003, through a shared love of late ‘70’s legends such as The Clash, Buzzcocks, Rezillos, Jonathan Richman. Pixies & Blur feature too, as well more subtle influences like The B-52's & The Shangri-la's - and of course the city of Coventry itself - the lyrics and astonishing energy of The Ripps is fuelled, in part, by their own love/hate relationship with their hometown.

Que Vivan Los Ripps!

"Sounding like the bastard lovechild of Sabbath and Pantera..." 7/10 Rock Sound

STRAIN release their self titled debut album on May 28 via Total Impact Records.

Coming on like a groove fuelled bulldozer, Bolton metallers STRAIN are all about the METAL !

Think Down... think Black Label Society... think Pantera... think Machine Head, and you'll be in the right frame of mind for this band's brutal riff-fest.

BOWLING FOR SOUP COME OUT!

New single “I’m Gay” released June 11th

Band:

Jaret Reddick - Vocals, Guitar       Chris Burney - Guitar, Vocals      Erik Chandler - Bass, Vocals     Gary Wiseman - Drums

Bowling For Soup release the second track from their latest album “The Great Burrito Extortion Case” on June 11th. “I’m Gay” is released through A&G Records and is available on vinyl and CD.

“The gayest record to come out for quite some time” - Kerrang

With radio and TV awash with “Emo” bands singing of teen angst and po-faced rock stars trying to save the world, it’s time to put some straightforward FUN back into music…and who better to do that than four larger than life men from Dallas who are second to none when it comes to super-catchy, upbeat pop-punk that you can’t resist singing along to.

The accompanying video is the first time the Texans’ infamous live show has been captured on film. Recorded at the Hammersmith Palais gig on the band’s sold out Get Happy Tour in February, the clip perfectly documents the all-out party that is a Bowling For Soup live performance. The band’s loyal fans are an integral part of the show and many of audience members that night will be able to spot themselves in the video.

Track listing (vinyl):

I’m Gay

Ride of A Lifetime

Track listing (CD):

I’m Gay

Ride of A Lifetime

London Bridge

I’m Gay (enhanced video)

The band make an eagerly anticipated return to the Download Festival main-stage on June 9th. After a year‘s hiatus, Bowling For Soup are ready to return to the scene of their triumphant 2005 performance where they provided a welcome interlude to the relentless aural assault of the day’s metal bill. The band are also pencilled in to make an appearance at the Kerrang signing tent during the weekend.

“I’m Gay” is released on A&G Records on June 11th. The album “The Great Burrito Extortion Case” is out now.

BAD BRAINS VIDEO TO BE DIRECTED BY SYSTEM OF A DOWN'S SHAVO

BEASTIE BOY ADAM YAUCH HELMS ALBUM
USA Tour Dates!

Bad Brains have confirmed that Shavo Odadjian from System Of A Down will direct the first video off the forthcoming album Build A Nation. Production will be in Portland and also at Sasquatch Festival later this month, where Bad Brains will be performing. It will be documented and a "making of the video" will also be filmed.

"I've been a fan of the Brains ever since I can remember. They are iconic pioneers of punk, not just the music but the attitude. The energy that comes off their stage is like no other.  HR's performances have effected not only my band, but almost every heavy band in our era. Another major inspiration is their message of trying to promote righteousness and living the righteous way. I am going to rock this video for the Brains and try to capture their intense energy. It's a big responsibility... I'm honored." says Shavo.

A Bad Brains worldwide tour is in the planning stages, including several major festival appearances both in the USA and Europe. The Sasquatch Festival on May 27 will see both Bad Brains and Beastie Boys take the stage. The following dates are confirmed.

Bad Brains Tour Dates:

5/25 -- Berbati's Pan, Portland OR
5/26 -- Berbati's Pan, Portland OR
5/27 -- Sasquatch Festival, George WA
6/24 -- NY School Of Rock Festival, Asbury Park NJ
6-25 -- NY Boat Ride, New York NY
7/29 -- The Rogers Picnic, Toronto CANADA
8/05 -- Virgin Festival, Baltimore MD

In addition, various samples and songs will be going up and rotated on the following website:

www.myspace.com/badbrains

The first proper Bad Brains studio album in over a decade, Build A Nation, is now scheduled to arrive in stores on June 25th, 2007 on Megaforce Records.  The album features all the original members of the group: HR, Darryl Jenifer, Dr. Know and Earl Hudson.

Produced by long time fan, Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys, Build A Nation is a return to form for the band that helped define American Punk and Hardcore music. It also represents the first studio album, outside Beastie Boys albums, to be recorded at the Beastie Boys’ Oscilloscope Laboratories and Studio compound in New York City.

“The Brains are one of most powerful and unique bands in the world,” stated Adam Yauch.  “They have been a huge influence on me, and it was an honor to work with them on this record."

Considered by many to be the "holy grail" of punk rock, the Bad Brains iconic legacy is best defined by their frenetic and legendary live shows. They are one of the definitive American punk groups who garner the same respect as the Sex Pistols, Black Flag, The Clash, and The Ramones. They brought a new dimension to music by melding punk and reggae into an innovative style that has yet-to-be copied. Build A Nation returns the band to their early roots with a raw, analog-driven chaotic album.

"The thing about a lot of punk is the feeling that bands have is of apathy and hopelessness. Whereas Bad Brains lyrical content had a lot of hope in it,” commented Billy Joe Armstrong of Green Day.

Build A Nation Sequence:

1. Give Thanks And Praises
2. Jah People Make The World Go Round
3. Pure Love
4. Natty Dreadlocks 'Pon The Mountain Top
5. Build A Nation
6. Expand Your Soul
7. Jah Love
8. Let There Be Angels (Just Like You)
9. Universal Peace
10. Roll On

ENTER SHIKARI

‘Jonny Sniper’

7” picture disc / CD single / download

released date ; Monday 18th June

Following the top 5 placing of their so-so debut album ‘Take To The Skies’, Enter Shikari take time off from sleeping with models and buying sports cars to fleece the fans with yet another single.

‘Jonny Sniper’ - by far the most radio-friendly and lightweight track on the album - is their cynical attempt to crossover to mainstream acceptance and open the door to what the band call ‘tabloidland’ where they won’t have to mix with any of their old friends anymore and can instead spend their evenings in a roped off area of clubs where people who can be ‘of use’ to them go.

There’s a good chance that the single will be backed by a couple of new tracks cobbled together between ‘massages’, but we don’t know what they are yet because, to quote the band…. “It doesn’t matter does it? Our stock’s so high right now that we can knock out any old piffle and they’ll lap it up. We’ll write it in the studio. Or we’ll get the engineer to do it”.

It will no doubt come accompanied with a video bedecked in lasers or whatever this week’s flashing nonsense is beloved by the cutting edge video directors of today.

It would probably have been prudent to do a ‘not ironic, honest’ re-imagining of a mainstream pop R’n’B track as a b-side too - just to try and convince the media that they’re anything other than a bunch of nice middle-class white boys who only listen to music made by other middle-class white boys – but what with the tennis lessons and drinks at the cricket club there just aren’t the hours in the day.

As is now customary to keep up the pretence of being ‘the hardest working live band in Britain’, Enter Shikari will be packing the backing tapes into their limo and miming their way around the summer festivals of the UK (except for Glastonbury. They’ve heard its been muddy in the past and, quite frankly, the shoes they wear these days are a little too expensive for that sort of carry on

WILL HAVEN RELEASE NEW ALBUM 'HIEROPHANT' ON JUNE 18 !!!
*************************************************************************************
"..every single person in the building starts baying for more." 5/5 Kerrang! (April '07)

Sacramento metal-heroes Will Haven will release their new album 'Hierophant' on June 18th through Bieler Bros. Records.

Records.

STARDOM ROAD: New Album from MARC ALMOND

Cat number: SEQCD011 / 5016 0739 011 25

Marc Almond’s new album “Stardom Road” will be released on 4th June 2007 and is the first album under his new deal with Sanctuary Records.

The album is a musical journey of cover songs that have influenced Marc through his life and his significant growth as an artist.  The album also contains one new song, Redeem Me (Beauty Will Redeem The World), which Almond wrote specifically for Stardom Road.  This collection features many of the genres that Marc has been associated with over the years, including Torch Song; the 1950's crooners; the grand orchestral sounds of the1960's; the 'over the top' pop glam of the 70's and the electro-style of the 80's that made him famous as part of Soft Cell.

Stardom Road gives the listener a personal glimpse into Marc Almond’s inspirations, aspirations and conclusions.  It is a tremendously important album, being his first since his near-fatal motorcycle crash in 2004.  The crash proved life changing, as such ordeals often are. Recording this album has formed an important part of the recovery process and represents the turning point as Marc Almond the artist, returns to form.

Track listing:

1.  I Have Lived
2.  I Close My Eyes and Count to Ten (featuring Sarah Cracknell)
3.  Bedsitter Images
4.  The London Boys
5.  Strangers In The Night
6.  The Ballad Of The Sad Young Men (featuring Antony Hegarty)
7.  Stardom Road
8.  Kitsch
9.  Backstage (I’m Lonely)
10. Dream Lover
11. Happy Heart
12. Redeem Me (Beauty Will Redeem The World)
13. The Curtain Falls

The album has been compiled with the help of Tris Penna, who produced many of the tracks with the acclaimed producer Marius de Vries and arranger Mike Smith.  It features guest spots from Antony Hegarty of Antony and the Johnsons; Jools Holland, with whom Marc has often toured; and Sarah Cracknell from St Etienne.

Marc is thrilled to be a part of Sanctuary, joining the many cutting-edge artists who already make up the label’s diverse roster.

Brighton-based 'chav-core' rockers FLOORS & WALLS head out on the road TOMORROW for a number of shows in support of the release of their second single 'The Stand' on May 21 and their debut album 'What Can We Do Today' on June 4.

Having been dubbed The Red Hot Chavvy Peppers by one appreciator of the band, these guys are sparking a new musical revolution for the spliff and playstation generation of today.

Front man, MC and all-round lad Alex Adams comes from a drum n bass background, while the rest of the band were raised on the likes of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mars Volta, Muse and System Of A Down. The result has been described as "The Streets meets Rage Against The Machine". Or as one wag put it 'the resulting offspring of a sexual liaison between the Chilli
Peppers and Vicki Pollard!'.

It's not often a band comes along offering up something so original and refreshing, so make sure you don't miss out on catching these guys live...I guarantee you'll have their tunes in your head for weeks!!

FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES UK TOUR BEGINS IN TWO WEEKS !!!
**********************************************************************************
"This is an album you have to invite into your life" 4/5 Kerrang!
"Merciless, marvellous, melodic hardcore" 8/10 RockSound
"..rips large chunks out of all eardrums within radius before spitting
them out with rapid-fire riffs" 7/10 Metal Hammer

Long Island rockers FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES head over our way shortly to
begin their eight-date tour of the UK in support of the release of their
new album 'Holding A Wolf By The Ears' out now on Vagrant Records,

"...this is the way our band was always supposed to sound, " comments
Deneeve.  "It's taken over 6 years and 4 records but this is the most
significant thing we have ever done."

Produced by Brian Mcternan (Thrice, Senses Fail, Hot Water Music, Moneen)
the music FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES created on Holding A Wolf By The Ears
heralds a new beginning for the New York-based band.  "I want to do
everything I can to get people to realise that this is really like a new
band," says Mark.

The most recognizable sign of this reinvention is Mark's recent shift from
drummer to drummer and full-time vocalist, a result of the departure of
former lead singer Benjamin Perri.  But over the course of the album's 12
tracks, it becomes clear that for the band more has changed than just a
voice.

Catch the guys at one of the following shows:

20-May Cardiff, Barfly
21-May Yeovil, Ski Lodge
22-May Brighton, Pressure Point
23-May Birmingham, Academy 2
25-May Manchester, Academy 3
