The third album from the Fightstar camp, which sees the introduction of a 16 piece orchestra as well as two choirs, certainly shows how the band have grown and developed over the past six years. The album, released on the 20th April 2009 was released in partenership with their management company Raw Power on a brand new label Search And Destroy, this gave the band more freedom and control.

There are a few tracks that have a happy alomst love like theme to them, ‘Mercury Summer’ being almost ballad like along with  ‘Give Me The Sky’ and ‘Tonight We Burn’, then you have the political anti war stance for ‘War Machine’, which is a true metal track, with the gruff vocals of Charlie Simpson really giving the track plenty of feeling, this is also seen on ‘Colours Bleed To Red’  which has the metal style thrashing guitar riffs.

This album also sees talented frontman Simpson drumming on several of the tracks due to regular drummer Omar Abidi's broken wrist.

This feels a very grown up album with the band wanting to show all that they have to offer while still being a Fightstar album, and its an album that allows Simpson to show of his impressive vocal range which is seen most on the track ‘Calling All Stations’ with its string section intro followed by a hard powerful chorus.

This is a groundbreaking album for the band 9/10
