Minneapolis quintet ‘Sing It Loud’ release their debut album ‘Come Around’ on the 1st June, a follow up to their self titled EP. Having managed to get themselves signed to Epitah having only ever played four shows, such is the quality of their music. Vocalist Pat Brown is in full control on this album with his lyrics clearly standing out from the plethera of pop punk acts hitting the scene at the minute. Having spent a good 12 months touring the US and supporting ‘Cobra Starship’ here in the UK the band managed to reach number 44 in the US billboards Heatseakers chart, and now they are planning to conquer the UK and with their debut single already recieving extensive airplay on the radio i would say they are well on their way. Label mates Motion City Soundtrack’s Justin Pierre guest vocals on the track ‘We’re Not Afraid’ a good stick in your head track. My favourite track from the album has to be without a doubt ‘Marionettes’ a hard and edgy track which really pounds in your chest as Brown’s vocals soar. There is also a guest spot on the track ‘No One Can Touch Us’ from another talented pop punk act singer Alex Gaskarth from’All Time Low’. ‘Dont Save Me’ sees the inclusion some some fantastic keyboard action within the chorus which shows the ability is within the music as well as the vocals. This is a solid album and really shows the passion that the band have for the music that they play and its clear that there is a lot more to come from these guys. 8/10 Come Around is released on 1st June through Epitah Track Listing:
