How long have you been together and how did you start the band

James: We've been together now for nearly 7 years, doesnt feel that long though!

Dan: we started out in school, we were all in the same year and all hung out together. We wanted another way of trying to look cool infront of the ladies. A band was the perfect way to do it!haha.

What are the band member’s names and what are their roles

James Taylor: Singer
Matt Bagley: Guitar
Luke Richards: Bass
Dan Fahy: Drums

So who are your main influences?

James: For me its a mix up of Lostprophets, Muse & Def Leppard..Lostprophets for the cool factor, Muse for the live shows & Def Leppard for their massive chorus's!

Dan: For me its mainly british bands such as Mansun, Manics e.t.c

Luke: Im heavily influenced by The Prodigy. And anything else that comes with a fat bass line.

Matt : Muse for me personally as I think Matt Bellamy is a genius on guitar!

Which other bands do you admire and why.

James: We all love Muse, we love how they've continued to make their own path with their music.

Matt: I love Maroon 5's honesty, how theyre a pop band and theyre not afraid to admit it!

Dan: I love My Chemical Romance, purely for their stage shows. They go way over the top which I love and think is exactly how I would love to go.

Is there any other band or individual that you would like to work with?

Matt: How about the guy that does all the James bond songs?

Luke: Rihanna! Just so we could get up close with her, and no doubt it would be a hit because shes massive!

What is your favourite gig that you have played.

James: I think I speak for everyone here when I say Leeds & Reading festival last year.

Dan: Definatly! We got to play the bbc introducing stage and it was just incredible. We got to hang out with Jack Black!

Where do you see yourselves, career wise, this time next year.

James: Coming back from America after being on the warped tour all summer.ha!

Dan: Releasing our debut album and doing a decent sized uk tour.

Matt: Hopefully just working full time with the band!

Luke: Just having a career in the industry would be cool.

What is the maddest thing you have ever done

Luke: I once told my mum I would be in for 10pm. I turned up at 10:05pm...mental!

James: I once beat up this girls invisible friend. She lived on my street and was very annoying! The invisible friend stopped hanging out after that....

Matt: I had a threesome. the bad kind...

Dan: I once got trapped in a steel cage with wheels on it, and wheeled myself down a steep street in the middle of leeds with traffic coming towards me. My life flashed before my eyes and it was well dull!

Are there any countries you would like to tour in and why?

James: America just because of the nice weather!

Dan: Japan for sure just for the culture!

Matt: I'd like to try somewhere different, maybe Russia?

Luke: Australie so I can finally learn how to surf!

If you could swap places with someone for a day, who would it be and why?

James: Head of EMI records and offer The Humour a 5 album, £30,000,000 deal.

Dan: My cat, she has an awesome life...

Luke: A firefighter! Ive always wanted to be one.

Matt: Pete Doherty, so I could chop my hands off, and tape my mouth together so i could never make anymore music!

If you could never play music again, what do you think you would do with your life?

James: Well I've always wanted to go in to management anyway, so I think if I could be in the band, I'd manage the band.

Matt: I would no doubt end up in some normal office job just dreaming of being in a band!

Dan: I've always wanted to work abroad, maybe go to Dubai or something? Become something random like a scuba instructor!

Luke: I'd go back to college and finish my art degree. boring i know :-)

If you were a superhero what would your name be and what special powers would you have?

James: Kfc boy, I can make kfc appear anytime and it doesnt make me fat.

Matt: Xray version and my name would be perve.

Dan: Ability to fly and I'd charge people to jump on my back for a spin, Id call myself flying man...

Luke: Silent boy, and with one click of my fingers i can make someones voice disappear.

If you were arranging a one day festival, what would be your dream line up?

James: Muse, Lostprophets, Def Leppard, Motley Crue and of course Slipknot!

Matt: Muse, Will Smith, Limp Bizkit & Lady GaGa!

Luke: Radiohead, Unicorns, The Prodigy & Jay-z!

Dan: Manic street preachers, Muse, The Used & Foo Fighters!
