 You have been booked to play at the GuilFest festival this year. Are you looking forward to it and how did the booking come about?
We are very much looking forward to playing Guilfest, It has such a diverse line-up which is what we like as it opens people up to new music, Hopefully it will turn alot of new people into Your Demise fans.
When did you know you were playing?
It was actually only the last couple of weeks we knew we were playing, we were just waiting to find our who we are playing with. Its awesome to be on the same day as great bands such as You Me At Six, ETC
Will you be spending the whole weekend at the festival?
Im not to sure yet, i would love to see Brian Wilson, But we shall take it as it comes, Hopefully tho!
Is there anyone else you are looking forward to seeing at the festival?
Hopefully Happy Mondays, Brian Wilson, You Me At Six, the awesome King Blues, lots of great bands, so it will make far an awesome weekend
Have you been to GuilFest before and what do you know about it ?
I personally have not been, our bassist Jimmy has, he actually worked for the festival a couple years ago, so he is stoked to be playing as we all are!
What other bands would you like to share the stage with past or present?
There is always such different lot of bands that we would love to play with. We have been pretty lucky to have toured and played with the bands we have so far, but for the future , Metallica, Deftones, basically all my childhood heroes , as well as newer bands like You Me At Six, Parkway Drive, A Day To Remember, and many many more!
How would you describe your average fan?
Hopefully a person that is very open minded, open to new music and basically a massive Music Fan, we have very cool fans, good people who like good music!
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Personally the whole ride has been a highlight, and it will be like that until the day we are no more! but if i had to say one thing, would more than likely be playing a Brixton Academy
If you hadn’t been in a band, what do you think you would have done with your life career wise?
I honestly do not have a clue, i worked for HMV before the band, so hopefully something to do with Music, if not that then Tattooing
If you could change places with anyone for a day – who would it be and why?
At the moment, Spencer from the Hills!! ha ha, he just does not care and it is very refreshing that he is just whom he wants to be, not having to think about what you say could be the best and worst thing in the world ha ha he is a dude tho!!
