Amongst The Wounded" was formed through the ashes of two separate local bands, "APD" and "Apodia". Formed, in the year 2004, the band took on the name "EverBlack" and became pretty well known around the local area. As we turn towards the end of 2005, the band decided that it was time for a change of name and so we adopted, "Amongst The Wounded".

We go by a very distinct sound of Hardcore metal with the addition of screamo. With the double bass pounding and the guitars screaming it's a sure thing that you will enjoy the mosh pit. So come along motherfuckers, we want to see you slam dance.

At this stage of our band profile, we would like to thank "Throwdown" for being a huge influence over the past year and with their music, helping us to create something so powerful that it cannot be ignored.
