| Band Bio: |
"Big-Sounding, Melodic, Clean-Edged Metal" "Full-fat, high-tar, home-grown rock 'n' roll!" Brain Ache were officially launched on January 1st 2004! However the band have been performing together as a band for over 5 years. Brain Ache are a 4-piece rock band from north west Kent / London borders. Performing live together since 1999, they have performed at many venues in and around London, such as the Old Tiger's Head, Amersham Arms, upstairs the Garage, Hope Anchor, Dublin Castle Gossips. They have also headlined Sound in Leicester Square several times and performed the Tunbridge Wells Forum back in 2003. Brain Ache have also performed on the main stage at Danson Festival in July 2004, in front of a crowd of over 300 people. Brain Ache's music has been described as: "anthemic, driving, very British sounding yob rock, built from rusty metal hard enough to bite bricks in half! crashing power chords, roaring vocals, pneumatic drums, scuzzball bass that underline subtly compliment the carnage!" by Paul Mills www.holytoilet.com Some of the band's past achievements include recording their album "Eat More Chikin" which was completed in 2003. They have also been featured on the British underground rock bands compilation CD "Roadkill Interrupted". They also completed a 3rd recording back in January 2004, titled Brain Ache, which included 4 tracks, Claim my Disease, Stay With Me Tonight, Brand New Day and Nothing To Lose. With the new set-up demo Brain Ache are aiming for the top and will be gigging hard and rocking a venue near you very very soon! Music
