| Up-load | Is it true that the band were ‘chucked’ together as a college/uni project and you didn’t know each other before that ? |
| DBA | It is true. Me and Ryan had met a couple of days
before because we moved into the same halls, but the rest of the guys
were a mystery. The project was done to show that sometimes you’d
have to work with musicians you didn’t know, of different styles
to you, and get on with it. |
| Up-load | Your single ’Dance Like No One’s Watching’ is being released on April the 28th, have you had many reviews in on the single yet and what is the feedback like ? |
| DBA | So
far all the feedback has been great, it’s kind of a pre-cursor
to the album, which I can’t wait to hear what people think of |
| Up-load | Tell us about the video for the single, where was it made and how did you get your fans to come along and join you? |
| DBA | It was made in Glasgow in a place called Sub Club, as well as some additional shots in the Classic Grand, which is just up the road. We just posted some blogs out on myspace and the rest of it and hoped people would show up! |
| Up-load | You also have your much awaited, debut self titled album being released on the 12th May, where was it recorded and who was the producer? Did you have fun while recording ? |
| DBA | It was recorded in London at Apollo Control Studios by Howard Gray (from Apollo 440) and Ashley Krajewski. We had a great time, it was strenuous and time-consuming but it was a great experience, and we made some good friends through it too. |
| Up-load | Will you be making any appearances at music festivals this summer? |
| DBA | Not as of yet, although we’ll have to wait and see what happens once the album is out, fingers crossed we’ll be able to blag our way onto some bills. |
| Up-load | Is there any other band or individual that you would like to work with and why? |
| DBA | I’d like to work with lot’s of people. Peter Gabriel has always inspired me, and I really like all of his stuff, maybe Kelly Clarkson, she is both talented and hot. |
| Up-load | Who are your main musical influences when you started the band and have these changed over the years as the band developed? |
| DBA | We had a lot of influences. Because of how we were put together we all had different ideas of how our music should sound. We were lucky that it all came together; I think we balanced each other out well . |
| Up-load | Which other bands (past and present) do you admire and why ? |
| DBA | I admire The Cure for being innovative and interesting, Queen for being consistently rocking, and Muse for raising the bar for every other band out there. |
| Up-load | If you could never play music again, what do you think you would do with your life? |
| DBA | I don’t know. I’d maybe give writing a try. I read a lot of books, so that might be a good laugh. That’s a tricky question, it’s kind of like asking a cat, if you weren’t a cat, what would you do. |
| Up-load | If you could swap places with someone for a day, who would it be and why? |
| DBA | Maybe an actor, someone devilishly handsome like Owen Wilson, or someone filthy rich like Bill Gates. To be honest if I had the choice I’d just stay as I am. |
