Elmo formed in the summer of 2004, after the break up of 'Bring Back Bob'. Ash, Joe and Ben all wanted to keep the band going after just playing cover songs at partys. So joined with Stef and it was love!!! We started with a few covers that we knew, and a couple of songs that Ash had wrote. Then Joe started writing like crazy, coming up with a few masterpieces in that time, while Ash did a little, Ben doin a load of lyrics and Stef doing nothing, the combined forces created this amazing music that will blow your asses away. With a hell of a lot of practice, spending a load of money on some good equipment we finally have a band that will soon rule the world. We had our first proper gig at the Coventry Jailhouse in early 2005 and went down a storm, and were by far the best band - even playing with some well known bands of the midlands area, we still got the best reception. And here we are, a great upcoming band, with a lively energetic performance, a myspace account with
loads of friends/fans, a video, and have just finished in the studio making a kick ass E.P. that sounds awesome....the new songs are on our myspace.
