Bloodstock Open Air Festival June 25th 2005(Terrorizer MagazineAUG 2005)
Fourwaykill are a highly effective antidote to the present tide of cookie
cutter metalcore outfitslanding from the states. Their greasy, sludgy,
filth encrusted take on Pantera and early Pro-Pain is practically SAS
metal:go in, take out the bad guys, get the fuck clear. Peppered with
savage beatdowns and backed by a relentless rythymic barrage, the likes
of 'Discipline', 'Removing Face' and the title track of recent full length
'24 hours to die' are a compact, no waste, jackboot in the face. Joining
the pit is like stepping into the ring with an in-his-prime Mike Tyson~:are
you gonna get smashed to fuck?Yes you are! Fourwaykill Nottingham Rock City Dec 9th 2004(Kerrang! Magazine 12/1/05) Review by Steve Beebee Fourwaykill are fuckin hostile indeed. From start to finish, this bestial west country band nail down their cortex-busting riffs with extreme malice. 'Anti-All' dedicated to Dimebag and band anthem '24 hours to die' delight the crowd and an impromptu cover or Motorhead classic 'Iron Fist'simply whets our appetite for the pleasures Bloodstock will send our way in 2005 (4/5 KKKK) Fourwaykill Bloodstock '04 - Sept 4th

Headliners Fourwaykill are a genuine revelation, Their high-powered
fusion of metal and hardcore is a blistering severe kick to the aural
gonads (or so to speak). Serving up my Favourite chorus of the weekend,
I can only repeat their murderous mantra - "Give me the gun...
I'll pull the fuckin' trigger!" Excellent.
FourwayKill – 24 Hours to Die review from Zero Tolerence MagazineIssue#2 - Nov 2004 (review by Simon Gausden)Completely unknown to me until their killer performance at Bloodstock '04, West Country noisy bastards FWK are as subtle and eye-wateringly painful as a stell toe-capped boot to the happy sacs! Falling somewhere between chugga-metal a la Pantera, Nu Thrash a la SkinLab, Hardcore a la Blood for Blood (praise a la, eh! - LdC), and even technology-free Fear Factory, The quartet:Chris (vocals), 'Podge' (bass guitar), Rob (drums) and Jay (guitar) know how to both 'riff it up' and 'tear it down' (if you follow my drift) simultaneously! Bold, brash, hard as nails and Ragingly Heavy, FWK could well be the 'next big thing'! 4/5 FourwayKill-24 Hours to Die review from PowerPlay MagazineIssue#56 - June 2004 (review by Glenn Butler)Fourway Kill are fast, aggressive and in your face! "24 Hours To Die" is a brutal album in the vein of Skinlab, with ferocious riffing and music that will severely shred the listener's ears. Vocals are courseand menacing as Chris snarls over the wall of sound sound created by Jay on guitars, Rob on drums and Podge on the bass. A combination of influences can be heard on this album, yet uniquely all tracks are Fourway Kill creations. "Removing Face" is a speedy, aggressive number with wailing guitar work, while "Reclaimation Rite" starts with a slower, brooding musical vibe building slowly in intensity and volume. "Dusted" tears it up from start to finish with breakneck drumming that just gets your head banging along and would surely be a huge hit when performed live. The intensity and threatening feel that the tune produces is testimony to the band's ability to write catchy yet very metal numbers. "Deadweight" and "Tappin The Vein" continue in a similar manner and leave no doubt that as Fourway Kill get more exposure they will be destined for greater things. FourwayKill – 24 Hours to Die
review from Terrorizer MagazineIssue#120 - June 2004 (review by Ian
Glasper) Its a shame that Fourwaykill, a Fine Power/Thrash band from
the west country, chose to open this MCD with the title track. Its No
where near as strong as the following 'Discipline'. It's here that FWK
demonstrate just what they can achieve when they play to their strengths;
a fliud uptempo riff, Almost hardcore in feel, breaks down neatly into
a sledgehammer section that recalls 'Vulgar ...' era Pantera. Fifteen
Years ago Fourwaykill would have probrably been signed to a major. now
seemingly sentenced to underground obscurity ... but stick to your guns
lads, the times they are a-changing. 7/10
