Formed in 2002 originally with drummer Sammy Lee (now in Septembre). A fruitless search for a guitarist resulted in bassist Bones plugging his guitar into a bass amp. This allowed Kinghorn to take over bass
parts on synths, somehow it worked and has become a Karn8 trademark.

The band went on to delight and outrage audiences with their onstage antics. From nervous promoters sending security up front to check that Kirst was wearing underwear. To over enthusiastic stage diving
and close encounters with bouncers. Karn8‘s gigging history is already a colourful one. In fact Risqué costumes and stage trashing has resulted in the group being banned from venues, and backlash from
their local music scene inspiried them to write their current EP ‘Everything That You Despise’
