Me
Against Them formed in 2001. They spit and snarl punk-pop tunes with
a live show full of nervous energy, attitude and static menace.
Their debut EP, 'Your Beach Is Mine' (on Shifty Disco/Star Harbour)
received daytime Radio 1 plays on Mark And Lard, XFM and Lamacq, followed
by a Peel session, a great Kerrang review (‘luminously tuneful
sleaze-punk’) and an appearance at 2003's ‘IN THE CITY’
all under their belt, the scene was set for the next attack.
They signed to new independent label HOT TEETH RECORDS in 2003 and released
a single 'Soul Destroyer' early in 2004. The excellent video (it cost
just £50!) got rotation play on SKYTV'S THE AMP and more radio
play from Mark & Lard, XFM etc.
They spent the rest of 2004 in and out of London's, Fortress Studios
recording their self-titled debut album which was released early 2005,
preceded by a double A-side single 'Lustful Eyes/Shoot The Messenger'.
At the end of the 2004, they recorded yet another Peel Session, which
was, unfortunately, only aired after the great maestro's untimely demise.
November 2005 sees the release of 'Bad Judgement' a split 7'' with the
Scaramaga Six on Wrath Records.
