Morton Sound Device are a rock band with the 'Punk Ethic'. Born out of 3 different bands MSD found their line up in 2004 and have never looked back. MSD's music demonstrates accessible, high energy, pumped up rock with a soulfull edge. Critics have already discribed MSD as "the bastard sons of the Foo Fighters and The Jam", a fitting indication of the explosive mix of influences which make MSD something special. MSD have worked hard to perfect their unique sound of uplifting and accessible rock music retaining a hard edge. Creating Instantly memorable songs combined with explosive choruses, spiky guitars, soulfull bass lines, topped of with Russell's soulfull, meening felt vocals. MSD are currently recording their debut album, scheduled for release in the winter. In the meantime, the band are playing a series of dates around the midlands, aswell as occasional shows in London in front of an ever-growing number of industry admirers!
