Band Bio:

God may have created man but the gods of rock created Planet of Women. Combining the power of AC/DC with the live show of Tina Turner's soul revue, their unique line up echoes the pop sensibilities of The Supremes but with the sound of Aerosmith and the attitude of The Runaways.

Rock ‘n’ Roll’s their lifeblood and living the rock ‘n’ roll life is something that lead singer Jade’s been doing all her life; her father was lead singer with notorious 60’s group the Riot Squad, alongside Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix Experience) and Davie Jones (before he called himself Bowie). The stories her father told her as a young girl, like performing with Hendrix and auditioning for Apple (McCartney making the tea!), shaped both her musical influences and her ambitions. Jade spotted Nina singing in a support band one night and the final piece of the jigsaw fell into place when Jolene stumbled upon the band whilst rehearsing in the next room.

‘Waking Up The Neighbourhood’ is the bands first single, produced by Ace (ex skunk Anansie) & mixed by Dan Sprigg (Lostprophets), it’s an explosive anthem featuring Jade’s searing, Joplin-esque vocals and is guaranteed to be the most exciting slice of rock you have heard this year. Its done fantastically well reaching #9 in the rock singles chart and staying in the top 30 here for 4 weeks. Getting played by xfm, Total Rock, 6 music, Radio 2, BBC London and lots of other regional stations. Also setting fire in many podacsts across the world. The video has also been played on scuzz a number of times and some great reviews in Kerrang, The Independent, Rocksound, Organ, Classic Rock, Bubblegum slut, Black Velvet amongst others. You can check out the video for the single here below
