Prior to their appearance on the second stage on Friday at this year’s Download Festival we did a quick interview with Sammy Siegler , the drummer from Rival Schools. Check out what he had to say to us.

Up-load	You have been booked to play the second stage at the Download festival this year. Are you looking forward to it and how did the booking come about ?
Sammy	I'm totally stoked for it, our rad agent Mr. Strange booked it I believe.
Up-load	When did you know you were playing ?
Sammy	a few weeks ago, Aprilish....
Up-load	Will you be spending the whole weekend at the festival?
Sammy	I think we need to keep moving.
Up-load	Is there anyone else you are looking forward to seeing at the festival?
Sammy	Not sure who is playing, I heard KISS or Frehleys Comet, I'm a fan, I would be into either one.
Up-load	Have you been to Download before?
Sammy	I think so, with Green Day and Iggy Pop, not sure what year.
Up-load	What other bands would you like to share the stage with past or present??
Sammy	Bob Marley, Slayer, Crosby Stills Nash and Young....
Up-load	Have any of you ever had a stalker or over obsessive fan ?
Sammy	Over zelous indeed .
Up-load	What has been the highlight of your career so far ?
Sammy	My old band CIV opened for KISS at Madison Square Garden. One time Rival Schools dressed as Spaceballs the move and played a Halloween show, both were pretty memorable.
Up-load	If you hadn’t been in a band, what do you think you would have done with your life career wise?
Sammy	Myme.
Up-load	If you could change places with anyone for a day – who would it be and why?
Sammy	Larry David, he's funny.
