I seem to spend most of my time updating and maintaining myspace these days! Its very addictive. I have noticed various manchester bands creeping onto the site,it is a great way for bands to promote their music and you soon find out if people like your stuff or not. For me, I have discovered latino reggae on myspace..(reggaetron) its really brilliant and great to hear (for me) a completely new take on classic reggae. I am working on new material, not only punk but I am trying out dirty electronica, just to see what happens. Its nice to keep things fresh!

Leeds..hmmmm..loads of really crap bands, with a few exceptions, The Cribs and Hot Hot Heat..apart from that it was a waste of time and money in my opinion.
The gig at BEBA last night was really great..apart from the drunk woman who staggered about threatening everyone and thowing up!! Its such a relaxed atomsphere at BEBA, its more like a private party than a gig (well it kind of was last night anyway..lol). Thanx to everyone who came along and also thanx to the ppl who came up afterwards and spoke to me...its always good to have great feedback!

Ok..busy times! I am currently sorting out gigs..on Sunday we shall be celebrating Tillys birthday at BEBA in style..come and join the party..not sure when we are onstage but it will be a great night..Chris, my sisters boyfriend is back in Christies Hospital. They removed the cancer (we hope) but the treament afterwards didnt go so well and now hes in isolation with a weird infection and looks like being there for a while. Hopefully he will be back to normal soon.

I am off to Leeds tomorrow..really looking forward to it and hope it doesnt rain!!

Last week Richie hopped on the train from London (no passport required) and we worked on some songs I had written..he is now busy arranging them in a suitable punked off style..ta richie:) Then yesterday Jeff came over and we did some writing together, I cooked him some food..hope he survived the night! I dont know when they will be recorded but hopefully it wont be too long. I'll be dropping the odd one into sets over the next couple of months anyway. I have been told about the amazing scene in Liverpool....time for a trip up the M6.

We had a great gig last night at Night & Day..the other 2 bands were excellent..KUBB were really good with a tight set and charismatic lead singer (excellent voice) but purely based on musical preferences, Change Nothing really did it for me... plus the roadie for KUBB was a shit..he sat on Jeffs amp head and when asked (politley) not to..he started kicking off..moron. He should have known not to sit on it when it was hot..it pushes the valves down. Still..a brilliant night all round!
I just want to mention Tim one of the doormen at Night & Day..he took one of my posters down and got me to sign it..hilarious!! I know Tim comes on this site..so Hi!! And a special thanx to the myspace people who came..especially Gregg ...good luck with the move to Brighton!
