Prior to their appearance on the main stage on Friday at this year’s Download Festival we did a quick interview with Dale Stewart, the vocalist and bass player from Seether. Check out what he had to say to us.

Up-load	You have been booked to play the second stage at the Download festival this year. Are you looking forward to it and how did the booking come about ?
Dale	Yes we are really looking forward to playing the download festival this year. We’ve always heard it was an absolute blast so when management told us we'd be playing we were all pretty stoked.
Up-load	When did you know you were playing ?
Dale	We first caught wind that we'd be playing a few months back, but it wasn't confirmed until a bit later.
Up-load	Will you be spending the whole weekend at the festival?
Dale	Unfortunately we have to leave pretty much right after we play, we Have some shows in South Africa and our flight leaves that night.
Up-load	Is there anyone else you are looking forward to seeing at the festival?
Dale	I really look forward to seeing Motorhead. I hope we can stay long enough to see just a few songs. Another one of my favorite bands is Finger Eleven and they never disappoint live.
Up-load	Have you been to Download before?
Dale	Never been before, this will be a first for me on all levels.
Up-load	What other bands would you like to share the stage with past or present?
Dale	I would love to play with Pearl Jam, Pantera and hey why not shoot for the stars and say Led Zeppelin.
Up-load	Have any of you ever had a stalker or over obsessive fan ?
Dale	We have had a few. We've always been a band who tries to interact with the fans and hang out with people after shows but sometimes if you give people a finger they go for the whole arm and it becomes awkward. Generally though our fans are respectful and cool.
Up-load	What has been the highlight of your career so far ?
Dale	For me I would have to say opening for Metallica in my home town at a cricket stadium, my folks were there and it was both terrifying and thrilling.
Up-load	If you hadn’t been in a band, what do you think you would have done with your life career wise?
Dale	I have no idea, I can't do anything else. I've been doing this my entire adult life. Maybe I would try get a job as a whiskey taster at Johnny Walker or something.
Up-load	If you could change places with anyone for a day – who would it be and why?
Dale	Kate Beckinsale's husband. I don't think this requires any explanation.
