| Band Bio: |
The
Beatles were the biggest pop group in the world for many years. They
played their instruments, wrote their own songs and millions adored
them. So why is it that in today’s society, the only bands that
are 'pop' are bands who sing and dance to an electronic backing track?
Why is it that people decide they are the judge, jury and executioner
and write off anyone who does play their instrument and does write their
own songs. Songs that are popular to the masses. Why is it a bad thing?!
Is there any hope left in the music industry?… Starting with the exceptional talent of drummer Edwin Harris. He delivers the backbone to the bands live Performance, with his driving beats and imaginative fills. Bass player Dominic Stone - the entertainer. An unprecedented ability to light up a stage and deliver a Show, as well as grooving a solid bass line. Lead Guitarist and Vocalist Drew Wale is an innovative writer who’s composing style has been compared to the likes of Tim Wheeler (Ash) and Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day) In an industry fronted by males, Leigh North, guitarist and vocalist, is a breath of fresh air. She not only has the sexy rock chick attitude but she has the voice to go with it. With her distinctive resonating vocals she whoo’s any audience. Together, these four individuals may not revolutionize the music industry, but there is no denying, that both on CD and on stage, they are bloody good. Welcome
to Sliced Peach!
