SUMMER DISEASE are from Galway in the west of Ireland.
SUMMER DISEASE, like many bands, started off as a drunken idea in the summer of 2004. Fast forward to January 2005 and Eamon, Colin and Gavin are jamming in their local rehearsal studio on a song with the working title of "Song to melt your face". An add in their local brought Paddy the Bassist into the fold and the first (but not last) line up was born. A year of gigging around Ireland (wherever would have them) and song writing followed.
Unfortunately, Paddy left to become a full time stuntman for The Burt Reynolds Stunt Co. in November 2005.
February 2006 saw the lads record their debut demo and cement their line-up with the bauld Pat Gannon.
We plan on destroying the world one eardrum at a time...
