Due
to the early doors on this event we were unfortunate to have missed
the first band The Dear And Departed but judging by the way the crowd
were all hyped up it must have been a good set. We did manage to see
Bullets And Octane though and im very glad I did. The moment the band
came onstage the crowd roared, lead singer Gene Louis made sure he got
right down to the front of the crowd touching all of the outstretched
arms. The bands debut album is coming out in the near future and im
sure everybody in the room is going to be buying it, Iknow Iam. |
| Then it was the turn of the amazing Avenged Sevenfold to take to the stage, the theatrical 'Beetlejuice' theme blasts across the room as the Rev takes his seat behind his drums closely followed by the rest of the band, the beetlejuice theme is drowned out by the loudest scream from the crowd that I have heard in a long time. The intro to Chapter Four belts across the room as the whole crowd jump up and down. Burn It Down also sees the crowd bouncing around with fists raised in the air. M Shadows paces up and down the stage with a mennacing air about him belting out the lyrics to Pantera's Walk which sees the crowd singing along. This is really an outstanding show by Avenged Sevenfold and shows just why these guys are one of the best bands around at the moment. |
